The flow of capital from both domestic and international investors into Finnish start-up firms is intensifying. Last year, venture capital investments in Finnish start-up firms grew by roughly 120 million euros year-on-year to 280 million euros, encouraged particularly by the injection of 100 million euros in foreign capital in the game studio Supercell. Altogether, Finnish companies received 791 million euros in venture capital last year, signalling a notable increase from the previous year.
