23.9.2008: Weeklies Update Delayed
Owing to the somewhat hectic nature of today, Tuesday, in the wake of the tragic incidents that took place in Kauhajoki during the morning and afternoon, we shall be updating the weeklies only with a limited number of articles, and will add more over the next 24 hours or so.
We also hope to be able to add some background and commentary material on the events in Kauhajoki, and on the possible repercussions of the second mass-shooting at a Finnish educational establishment in less than 12 months.
It should not happen here, but it does, and it has. More and more people will be wanting to know why, and how to stop such acts of madness.
Meanwhile our heartfelt sympathies and condolences go out to all those affected by today's horrifying events.
