Aurora Borealis video has more than million viewers

A video made by the Finnish Tourist Board (MEK), showing the Aurora Borealis or northern lights, is growing in popularity on the Internet. So far, more than a million viewers have clicked on the video from the video-sharing websites Youtube and Vimeo.
In October, the same Aurora Borealis video made Norwegians fear that Finland would use the northern lights to "steal tourists" away from Norway.
”Norway has tried to promote the Northern Lights as their own brand, but we Finns sure know where they can best be seen”, says Jaakko Lehtonen, Director General of MEK, in a news release.
MEK says that the latest claim is based on the information received from researchers at the University of Oulu. According to the researchers, the weather is hampering the visibility of the northern lights in Norway.
”Even though the likelihood of seeing the Aurora Borealis on Norway’s northern coast is greater than in Central Lapland, it is frequently cloudier and rainier on the coast”, said geophysicist Tero Raita of the University of Oulu in a news release.
The argument continues.
