 print this
Swedish citizens form the fourth largest group of immigrants in Helsinki. At the beginning of 2004, a total of 1,176 Swedes lived in the capital city.
Of the Swedes living in Helsinki, 48 percent were born in Finland. An average of 21 percent of all immigrants from EU member states were born in Finland.
Of all the largest immigrant groups, the Swedes have the oldest age structure: 13.7 percent of them have seen their 65th birthday.
