Bruce Springsteen is set to make a return to Finland this June, in the company of his E Street Band.
The venue will be Tampere's Ratina Stadium and the date of the concert is Tuesday June 2nd.
Springsteen has played Finland on two previous occasions.
There were a brace of dates in Helsinki's Olympic Stadium in June 2003 and last July he also filled the Olympic Stadium and provided his delighted Finnish audience with the longest concert of his entire European tour, featuring 31 numbers.
Springsteen's new album Working on a Dream will be released in Finland next week.
The artist has also recently been in the news for his appearance at the inaugural concert for the new US President Barack Obama, where he performed solo and alongside folk music veteran Pete Seeger.
Tickets for the Tampere concert will go on sale next Monday, January 26th via Lippupiste.
In spite of the more awkward venue (at least for capital-dwellers), demand is expected to be heavy.
