The crossword included just before Christmas produced a couple of correct answers, and one that was correct in all but the delicious detail that the (San Francisco) ‘49ers were described as the ‘69ers, which is an altogether different matter and would probably get the team banned from prime-time TV coverage in many U.S. states.
