According to the Centre Party news website Verkkoapila, the Centre Party and the Swedish People’s Party could both lose one seat in the European Union Parliament at the next election.

The information is based on the ratings of a poll published by the Finnish Broadcasting Company (YLE).
According to Verkkoapila, the Centre Party is likely to lose one seat to the eurosceptic True Finns, which would become a new party in the European Parliament.
The Swedish People’s Party would get no seats in the new assembly, as the total number of Finnish members in the European Parliament has been downsized to 13.

The only party to gain four seats would be the National Coalition Party, which is currently so strong that it is closer to its fifth seat than the Social Democrats are to securing their fourth and the Green League are to their second seat.
European Parliament elections, held every five years, will be arranged in Finland on June 7th.
