FACTFILE: Five Finns in season opener
Tanja Poutiainen was the only Finnish skier in Saturday 's women's giant slalom, the first World Cup event of the 2004-05 season.
On Sunday, Kalle Palander, Sami Uotila, Jukka Rajala, and Jukka Leino raced in the men's giant slalom.
Four Finns have never before participated in a World Cup giant slalom event at the same time.
