FACTFILE: Kids from 17 countries
Forty children and young people from 17 countries attended the international Aava Camp Finland this year. The camp is for children aged 9 to 14 years.
The camp ends on Sunday.
Two thirds of the children are Finns living abroad, who wish to improve their Finnish. The majority are Finnish-Americans.
The rest are Finns, or foreigners who wish to improve their English.
There is voluntary language instruction almost every day.
Aava Camp Finland is the only private international camp in Finland. It is being held in association with the Finland Society.
