FACTFILE: The Finnish Holiday Housing Fair in Parainen
The holiday housing fair is open 17. 6.-23. 6. and 27. 6.-10. 7. from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Ticket booths close at five p.m. Admission for adults costs 11 euros, children's admission is eight euros.
The housing fair area is located in the Sandviken area of Airisto, around 13 kilometres from downtown Parainen (Pargas in Swedish).
There are a total of 49 lots in the area, 24 of which have already been sold. Thirteen have also been preliminarily reserved. Ten of the lots have their own shoreline.
The prices of the lots have ranged from 18,000 to 195,000 euros. The smallest holiday home is 38 square metres, the largest around 200 square metres.
There are 39 saunas in the area.
The lot owners in the fairgrounds are all partners in a maintenance firm that takes care of waste water treatment in the area.
