Finnish Member of Parliament Eva Biaudet (Swedish People’s Party) is to be named to a high post of the Organisation on Security and Cooperation in Europe.
According to a report on the morning television programme of the Finnish Broadcasting Company (YLE), Biaudet is to be appointed to the post of OSCE Special Representative in Combating Trafficking in Human Beings.
Her task would be to help member states in the implementation of commitments and recommendations to fight the activities.
The OSCE is one of the world’s key bodies fighting human trafficking. If Biaudet is named to the post, we would follow the outgoing representative, Helga Konrad of Austria.
