Finnish citizen one of 10 World’s Most Influential Chinese

Xia-Chang Zhang develops soft batteries in Espoo

Xia-Chang Zhang, CTO at the Espoo-based Enfucell, and developer of the company’s only product, soft batteries, was named one of ten of the World’s most Influential Chinese for 2006. Zhang, who has Finnish citizenship, was the only European among the recipients of the title.
      Other recipients of the award include film director Ang Lee, Melbourne Mayor John So, and hurdles runner Liu Xiang.
      The jury of 100 Chinese media figures made its decision on the basis of a national vote. Dr. Zhang was the overwhelming favourite in the group of scientists.
