HALLOWEEN/ ALL SAINTS
Just a quick advance advance-warning that this weekend will see some changes in opening hours and transport schedules owing to the All Saints holiday.
We will provide more details tomorrow, but the thing to remember is that Saturday, October 31st is a public holiday and stores will be closed.
Things get a bit more complicated at this time of year, as Sunday shopping in the run-up to Christmas kicks in from this weekend, so every where (well, not everywhere, but...) will be open on Sunday.
Details of bus and train schedule changes and other matters will be given in tomorow's edition, but it is worthwhile asking around already if this is the first time you've experienced one of these weekends.
Needless to say, the Alko liquor stores will not be open on Saturday, so if you want something to spike your Halloween pumpkin, you'll have to get it today or tomorrow.
