There are two Finnish bands on the British Top 10 singles chart this week after the HIM single Solitary Man debuted in ninth place. The new list was published on Sunday night.
The Rasmus's single In the Shadows has now been in the top ten for four weeks, placing sixth this week. The single debuted at number three when it was released.
On the album chart, The Rasmus's album Dead Letters can now be found in the 14th slot. The HIM album Love Metal has sold silver in Britain, or over 60,000 copies, but has not broken into the Top 40.
Solitary Man, HIM's version of the Neil Diamond hit, is the band's most successful single on the British charts to date. Previously, The Funeral of Hearts managed 15th place.

On the rock album chart, The Rasmus is currently in second place, topped only by Guns N'Roses. HIM's new album And Love Said No is in tenth place on the rock chart.
What is historic from a Finnish point of view is that The Rasmus and HIM top the rock singles chart this week, with In the Shadows at the top of the chart and Solitary Man in second place.
HIM is currently touring in the U.S. The tour, which began in mid-April, will continue longer than planned. New gig dates have now been set for Las Vegas and the East Coast. The tour is now expected to end in New Jersey on May 17th.
HIM will perform in Finland only once this summer, at the Provinssirock festival on June 19th.
