The Finnish Guard are investigating a case of aggravated expediting of illegal entry to the country.
A middle-aged Indian man is under suspicion of having acquired more than a hundred entry visas under false pretexts. The visas are believed to have been used to get numerous Indians illegally into Finland and onwards into Europe's Schengen area.
“It is a very extensive case”, reported Capt. Sami Paila, the officer in charge of the investigation.

Some of the visas were acquired for the purpose of making a movie.
A camera crew has been active in the Porvoo area, but Paila says the Border Guard are examining whether the film-making is merely a cover operation.
The man acting as the producer for the film was remanded in custody in Vantaa on Friday.

Three Indian men were intercepted last Monday at Helsinki-Vantaa International Airport, when en route to Paris via Stockholm.
A further eleven Indian nationals were rounded up at a holiday cabin development in Espoo. Two were women.
According to Capt. Saila, the situation was challenging, as there was also an argument and scuffle with a group of drunken Finns.

The three men picked up at the airport will face deportation, while the others who were apprehended have already left Finland to go back to India.
