Janne Ahonen's dominance of World Cup ski-jumping continues. In Trondheim's gusty winds Ahonen added two more victories to his so far perfect season start.
On Saturday, Ahonen - last season's overall World Cup champion - secured the victory by 4.2 points ahead of Jakub Janda of the Czech Republic. Ahonen then took Sunday's event by an 11-point margin from Austria's Martin Höllwarth.
After the first round on Sunday, Ahonen, who had produced the longest jumps on every one of the preceding six world cup rounds, found himself in an unfamiliar third position behind Norway's Roar Ljökelsöy and Martin Höllwarth.
On the second round, however, Ahonen was the best at mastering Trondheim's difficult wind conditions, and he brought home his fourth victory in as many events this season.
Ahonen leads the World Cup table with the maximum 400 points, followed by Höllwarth and Janda with 208 and 198 points respectively.
