Jutta Urpilainen becomes an involuntary world star on YouTube

Jutta Urpilainen, the new leader of the Social Democratic Party, could hardly have predicted that she would become a world star and celebrity in the wake of the first elections with her at the SDP helm - especially considering that the party suffered a major defeat in the ballot-box.
      Why did Urpilainen become so famous? The credit belongs entirely to her and the replies she repeatedly gave when asked for her comments on the outcome of the elections by various representatives of the media.
     
Whatever question she was asked, by whichever media outlet, Urpilainen launched her statement every time by thanking the voters, using the same words ”Aivan aluksi haluan kiittää...” (”To start with, I wish to thank all those who voted for SDP...”).
     
A satirical video of Urpilainen's mantra was swiftly made and posted on the YouTube site, and in a couple of days it became one of the world’s most viewed videos, immediately getting five stars.
      By Thursday morning, the number of people visiting YouTube in order to view the Urpilainen video clip was already approaching 300,000, while the number of comments given on the clip was well in excess of 500.
      ”Finland’s Sarah Palin”, suggested one of the commenters.
