A majority of Finns would be ready to raise the gambling age limit to 18. According to a recent study, 71 per cent of the citizens second the raising of the age limit from the present 15 years.
In June the government made a proposal that the new law on lotteries would totally ban those under the age of 18 from taking part in any form of gambling.

The poll was commissioned by the "Life Tastes Better without Drugs" NGO.
Around a thousand Finns were interviewed in the survey conducted by Taloustutkimus.
