More than 140,000 sign online petition opposing higher retirement age

An online petition calling on the government to reconsider its decision to raise the retirement age from 63 to 65 years continued to bring in virtual signatures at an even pace on Sunday.
      The petition set up by the Central Organisation of Finnish Trade Unions (SAK), the Finnish Confederation of Professionals (STTK), and the Confederation of Unions for Professional and Managerial Staff (AKAVA) reached the mark of 140,000 signatures on Sunday at 9:45 p.m.
