The City of Helsinki reports that practically all of its nearly 200 outdoor “natural” skating rinks have been frozen and are in use.
The great majority of the 90 rinks in Espoo are also up and running.
In Vantaa, which has around 40 rinks, all the regular ones have been frozen, and most of those located in parks, which are intended mainly for children and families.
