Nokia announced on Monday that it has issued a second patent infringement countersuit against the American wireless communication technology firm Qualcomm.
Nokia claims that the BREW service platform and the MediaFLO mobile television technology developed by Qualcomm are infringing six Nokia patents.
The counterclaim is Nokia’s answer to a suit filed by Qualcomm against Nokia in a Texas court earlier this year.
Currently, there are several lawsuits pending between the two companies in various courts around the globe.
A licensing contract between Nokia and Qualcomm expired in April this year.
