The finalists have been whittled down during the winter and spring through try-outs and semi-finals arranged on a geographical basis.
Each of the five regional semi-finals - representing artists from Asia and Oceania, Africa, South America/Central America/ North America, the Middle East, and Europe - produced two entrants for the final.

The Jury for Ourvision 2008 comprises Tidjan Ba from the band Kwan, rap artist Mariska, Kim Herold from the band Humane, and a representative from Edel Records.
The final will be held in Finlandia Hall from 20:00 on Saturday.
The first Ourvision event a year ago was won by 25-year-old Lebanese-born Samantha Marie José Sayegh.
