The construction of two new nuclear power plants in Finland will come to a Parliamentary vote on July 1st.
The definitive voting will be the last item on the agenda of what will be an exceptionally long spring term for Parliament.

On Wednesday, the Parliamentary Speaker’s Council decided on the order of this spring’s remaining sessions.
Parliament will consider the changing of the Prime Minister during Midsummer week, following the Centre Party's congress in Lahti.
The present PM Matti Vanhanen has announced he will not be standing again for the leadership of the Centre Party, and his successor - chosen from one of four candidates in the running - is likely to take Finland forward until the next general election in March 2011.
