The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has completed its investigation into the Lake Bodom murders which took place nearly 45 years ago.
The case revolves around the stabbing deaths of three young people on a camping trip on the shore of Lake Bodom in Espoo in the summer of 1960.
The murder remained unsolved for decades. Last spring, however, police said that they had new evidence, and arrested Nils Gustafsson, long considered the sole survivor of the attack.
Gustafsson was remanded in custody soon after his arrest. Later he was released, and ordered not to leave the area. That order was also later lifted.
