Respondents were also asked to list the parties which they consider reliable in handling municipal issues.
The results indicate that no party stood out very much, with 38 per cent saying that they trust the conservative National Coalition Party to deal with local questions.
Coming close was the Centre Party, which was trusted by 37 per cent, and the Social Democrats, who got the trust of 35 per cent.

Among the elderly, the Centre Party and the National Coalition Party were the top two, coming slightly ahead of the Social Democrats.

Those in management positions and those with high-ranking white collar jobs often saw the National Coalition Party as the most reliable. Among lower-ranking white-collar employees, the Social Democrats and the Centre enjoy more support.
Blue-collar workers favour the SDP in municipal matters. Among students, the Centre and National Coalition Parties come out ahead. Pensioners tend to favour the Centre.
Of the supporters of the large parties, 90 per cent expressed trust in the parties that they are affiliated with in municipal questions.
However, among supporters of the Green League, just 75 per cent say that they have confidence in the municipal know-how of their party.
Only two thirds of respondents who consider themselves supporters of the True Finns saw their party of choice to be particularly skilful at handling municipal matters.
