The new Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin will not be coming to Finland this month.
There had been initial suggestions that the former Russian President, who took office as PM on May 8th, would pay a visit to Finland at the end of next week.

The Finns received word of the postponment on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen (Centre Party) noted to the Finnish News Agency STT that at no time had the visit or its scheduling ever been confirmed, although it was widely reported last week.
At present there is no information on when a visit from the neighbouring prime minister will take place.
