Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Fradkov began a visit to Finland on Tuesday. Fradkov arrived in the city of Oulu Tuesday morning for talks with Prime Minister Matti Vanhanen (Centre) on matters including transport questions and cooperation among areas on both sides of the border between the two countries.
Also on the agenda are relations between the European Union and Russia, as well as energy issues.
During the day Fradkov will acquaint himself with local high-tech know-how.
From Oulu, Fradkov will continue to Helsinki, where he will take part in a special event on Russian business. He will also meet with President Tarja Halonen.
