Saturday Night: CLOCKS BACK! IT'S WINTER!

Saturday Night: CLOCKS BACK! IT'S WINTER!
print this
We omitted to mention it (again, just like last year) on Friday - probably because we were thinking about Sunday's municipal election (or maybe we just forgot) - but the clocks go back an hour in the early hours of Sunday morning, so everyone gets an extra hour in bed.

There’s no real NEED to stay up until 4 a.m. on Sunday morning, but if you do, then it will actually be 3 a.m. and you can spend the last hour all over again.
And if you are in a train at the time, don’t be surprised if it seems to be stationary, because it will be. Long-distance trains spend an hour in the nearest station getting their breath back and preparing for winter.

Henceforth, at least until the last Sunday in March 2009, Finland is once again "GMT +2".
