THE INTERNATIONAL EDITION CLOSED DOWN ON OCTOBER 26th
Helsingin Sanomat's English-language digest, the International Edition, launched in 1999, closed down in its present form on Friday October 26th, although a limited update of results of the Finnish municipal elections will be provided on Sunday and Monday.
All the International Edition articles will still be available via search engines and the Archives, and the pages themselves will be visible for roughly a month after we close down, although there will be no updating after Monday.
The online services of Helsingin Sanomat will be undergoing changes and upgrades towards the end of this year.
Helsingin Sanomat is considering alternative ways of publishing content in English at some future date.
