Some of the relatives of those Finnish tourists involved in the Malaga coach crash are currently travelling to Spain, according to Commercial Director Tuomo Meretniemi from Aurinkomatkat, the travel operator with whom the coach passengers were booked.
In addition, some relatives are making their own way to Spain.
Aurinkomatkat has not actively offered relatives the chance to travel to the scene, but it has discussed the matter with those who have contacted the company in the wake of Saturday night's accident.
A few relatives left for Malaga on Sunday afternoon on the same plane that was carrying forensic scientists from the National Bureau of Investigation, crisis counsellors, and a doctor prepared to analyse the conditions for repatriation of those injured persons who will require special transport.
Aurinkomatkat may pay for the travel arrangements of some relatives, but no decision has been reached on the matter as yet.
According to Meretniemi, the accident has not led to cancellations or interruptions of Finnish holidaymakers' trips to Spain.
