Just when you thought they were all gone (or alternatively just as you were about to sell yours for a profit), it appears that yet more tickets will be added for pop diva Madonna’s August gig in Helsinki.
“We are currently looking into the matter with the authorities, but I would imagine that around five thousand extra tickets will become available”, estimates promoter Risto Juvonen from the concert’s organiser, Live Nation.
“The concert area could hold a much larger crowd, but the entry and exit routes set the limits.”
Madonna will perform in Helsinki’s Jätkäsaari on August 6th.
So far just over 80,000 tickets have been made available for the gig, which sold out very quickly amid reports of chaos and snafus at street and online outlets (see earlier articles).
