WE ARE BACK
The International Edition returns today after a lengthy absence, during which time - mercifully - not so very much has happened in Finland, although the election financing furore has rumbled on throughout July and seems likely to remain in the public eye for some time to come. On this topic, and on the subject of the perception of corruption in Finnish society generally, we will be filling in some of the details in a large weekly article next week.
As always it may take a day or two to get back up to speed, but try to bear with us as we change gears.
With luck this will not spell the end of summer, even though Finland tends to shrug its shoulders somewhat and look towards autumn and beyond as July turns to August.
