Motor vessels are currently prohibited on Töölönlahti, but rowing boats can be hired, and occasionally one can see dinghies on the bay. It is mainly popular, however, with walkers and joggers, who make a circuit around the shoreline, which takes in several of Helsinki's more attractive buildings and park areas.
