The 14-screen Tennispalatsi multiplex in Helsinki was opened in February 1999 after a complete refit of the former tennis hall. In terms of customer throughput, it is now the largest cinema complex in the Nordic Countries, and boasts attendance figures of around 1.5 million a year.
