One person died and six were seriously injured in this pile-up on the Lahti motorway near Kerava on Thursday morning. The photograph taken by rescue workers is from 9.06 a.m. In all, more than 300 cars were involved in collisions in a short period on roads around Helsinki, amid scenes never witnessed in this country before.
