The map shows the main rivers in Lapland. The Torniojoki and
Tenojoki rivers are expected to be the next source of flood danger. This
year's flooding has been less related to ice-dams and more a result of
extremely high snowmelt run-off. Snow depths in Lapland were exceptional
this winter.
