A veterinary officer in mask and full protective gear holds up a warning sign at the edge of the protection zone that has been thrown around the site in Oskarshamn in Sweden, where at least two birds - tufted ducks - have been found dead of the aggressive, "highly pathogenic" H5N1 variant of avian flu. Finnish authorities now believe that the virus will make landfall in Finland sooner than was earlier forecast.
