Mr. Lordi fronted the band's post-competition press briefing wearing a Lappish "four winds" hat, as befits a resident of Rovaniemi. Tomi Putaansuu proved to be a very articulate man underneath all the make-up, and coped admirably with reporters' questions in more than passable English. A welcome-home party will be held for the band in Helsinki's Market Square on Monday, and people were already out celebrating in a carnival atmosphere in the city centre in the early hours of a damp Sunday morning.
