Sampo Group CEO Björn Wahlroos (right) says that discussions with Danske Bank CEO Peter Straarup began a month ago. The EUR four billion paid by Danske Bank for Sampo Bank is twice the amount that OKOBANK paid for Pohjola Insurance.
