Espoo residents Vesa and Jaana Hynynen studying the ground plan of a log house which they will build in Ylämaa, in the region of South Karelia. They already have there a small lakeshore cabin with a separate outbuilding for accommodation. The budget for the new house is as low as around EUR 55,000, which is possible as some members of the family are professional construction workers and are willing to give Vesa and Jaana neighbourly help.
