When the lemming population expands, they can be spotted easily on their migrations on the roads, by river banks, and on paths in the fells. Lemmings on the move are determined little creatures, and not exactly blessed with a good temper, either. They can be quite aggressive, even towards humans, despite their diminutive stature and cuddly looks.
