Reinforcements have arrived. Montreal Canadiens captain Saku Koivu seen signing autographs after landing at Halifax International Airport on Wednesday. Koivu joined the Finnish squad in time to watch the game against Slovakia. He will be in the team for the Qualification Round matches against Latvia, Canada, and Team USA, and will probably be joining forces with Teemu Selänne and either his brother Mikko Koivu or Olli Jokinen as the first line of attack. Coach Doug Shedden was a little disappointed with the service received by Selänne in Wednesday's game, and plans to shuffle things up a bit. The 31-year-old Koivu, with 107 international caps to his name, will not be taking on the captaincy, held by Ville Peltonen.
