The share of diesel models among new cars bought in Finland, 1990-2008. The Oil and Gas Federation would like to see the figure rise to nearly 60% by 2020. At the current rate of progress this seems eminently feasible, but with prices for diesel fuel approaching those for 95E unleaded, it remains to be seen whether the trend will continue.
