After the parents divorced, Nassim Bouteldja grabbed his daughter Nadia, then nine years of age, from her home in Espoo. This was in May 1997. Nadia, now a woman of twenty, has surfaced in Luxembourg and has met with her Finnish mother. The story of the original abduction was widely reported in the Finnish press at the time.
