The 4,700-ton Arctic Sea, believed to have been the victim of a hijacking attempt in Swedish waters in late July, seen in December 2008. The ship's present whereabouts remain a mystery. She continued to transmit an Automatic Identification System (AIS) signal for five days after the date of the alleged hijacking attempt, but when news of the incident broke, the signal ceased.
