The OECD study also revealed that Finnish students spend an average of 4.9 years in tertiary education, compared with an OECD average of 4.1 years. Finland comes at the tail end of the statistics when the number of foreign students in the country is calculated: in Australia, Britain, and Switzerland the figure is more than 10% of the total, while here it is only around 3%.
