Kari Koivuniemi (rear), a regional operative of the Finnish Construction Trade Union, inspects a construction site in the Käpylä district of Helsinki, where the company B.M.K. Rakennus has failed to pay back wages to its Estonian employees. Mikk Manilets has worked at Finnish construction sites for three years. He works ten-hour days for ten days in a row, and then goes home to Estonia for four days. Now he has been left unpaid, and hopes to at least get enough money for a ticket home.
