Hannu Manninen (right) powered past Germany's Tino Edelmann in the finishing straight to take victory in Sunday's Nordic Combined race in Ruka. After placing 1st and 2nd in the opening two events of the new season, the former World Cup winner could hardly have made a more impressive comeback to the sport.
