The first election-night coverage in the Pasila HQ of the Finnish Broadcasting Company took place in connection with the 1994 Presidential elections. Social Democratic Party candidate Martti Ahtisaari and Elisabeth Rehn (Swed. People’s Party) made it into the second round. In the picture Ahtisaari is congratulated by Centre Party candidate Paavo Väyrynen.
