Former skier Jari Isometsä has denied the use of performance-enhancing EPO hormone. Physician Pekka Koponen, however, now claims that he had acquired EPO hormone specifically for Isometsä in 1998-2000. If Isometsä is found to have lied on the witness stand during the ongoing STT doping trial, he could face criminal sanctions.
